Featuring over 2,600 acres of woodlands and meadows, there are trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and 14 picnic areas. Ridley Creek is even stocked with trout if you’re looking for an activity after your photos. The gray stone of The Hunting Hill Mansion offers a gorgeous historical backdrop in addition to all the trails and trees. Consider a fall session to take advantage of the striking foliage!
St Peter’s Village

This tiny village in Chester County oozes charm – but don’t blink or you may drink right through it! Just a quarter mile long, this mid-19th century industrial town is right on the bank of the French Creek. There are several photo opportunities beside the quaint historic buildings, but we also suggest some shots on the hiking trails and by the river. The massive boulders make for interesting shots, so don’t forget proper footwear if you’d like to try rock climbing.
Springton Manor Farm

Wissahickon Valley Park (Forbidden Drive)

This gravel road through Wissahickon Valley Park was named the Pennsylvania Trail of the Year in 2018 by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Steeped in history, this park also protects the drinking water for one third of Philadelphians. Forbidden Drive – so named because it was closed to vehicle traffic in 1924 – follows the Wissahickon Creek past a covered bridge, historic inn, and several other landmarks. Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site

Visiting Hopewell Furnace is like stepping back in time. Featuring buildings from America’s industrial past (think late 1700’s through late 1800’s) there are endless unique backgrounds as you stroll through this historic village.
