From the vendor website: Bellevue Hall in Wilmington is a former estate of the wealthy du Pont family. The mansion itself dates from 1855, and the du Ponts expanded the property in various ways over the years, notably extending the grounds and adding barns and stables for their well-known equestrian pursuits. Delaware’s Parks & Rec Division eventually acquired the estate and has integrated it into the state’s public parks system, restoring and managing the historic buildings and outdoor spaces to preserve the grand historic charm while adding the amenities of a modern event facility.
