John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove is the perfect venue for nature-loving couples, especially since part of the rental fee goes towards conservation efforts. This Montgomery County bird sanctuary and historic estate is the perfect escape from city life, even though it’s easily accessible from 422. With 175 acres of meadows, rolling hills, and a charming apple orchard, there are so many perfect backdrops to choose from to create dreamy photos. Everywhere you turn there are picturesque nooks bathed in golden light. With so much interesting stonework and seasonal foliage you can’t go wrong! Most ceremonies are held outdoors beneath an elegant ceremony arch, while your guests are shaded by majestic trees. For your reception, choose from an eighteenth-century fieldstone barn with exposed wooden beams, chandeliers, and a stone fireplace, or a more modern four-season wooden pavilion. There’s air conditioning, plenty of parking, and room for at least 250 guests. After dark, you can take creative photos in the firepit area. Support the conservation movement while enjoying the beauty of nature in historic, rustic-chic fashion by holding your wedding at the John James Audubon Center, which is managed by Jeffrey A Miller Catering.
