Philander Chase Knox Estate is a historic manner located in Valley Forge National Historical Park in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The grounds that surround the property are amazing for portraits, especially the abandoned greenhouse and Knox Quarters across the street. The unique reflection pond is a great spot to photograph the couple. The architecture inside and outside of the venue will leave a lasting impression on your guests and in your photographs. Two hospitality suites are available for the wedding party to dress. Your ceremony can be held on the lawn overlooking fields of wildflowers and a charming creek. Cocktail hour takes place in the estate house, where your guests can enjoy the period furniture and the view from the slate patio. Receptions take place in a fully carpeted tent, with magnificent tables made of reclaimed barn wood. These little details remind you of the immense amount of history all around you as you look out on the fields where Washington’s army camped during the Revolutionary War.
