If you’re looking for a venue brimming with American history, look no further than The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs. Built as a colonial inn where General Washington once slept, the building later housed Civil War orphans and young artists. Located in Valley Forge National Park, where General George Washington’s army encamped in 1777-1778, this late 18th century estate later served as a summer home for former Secretary of State Philander Chase Knox. Surrounded by 3,500 acres of meadows and trees, the venue offers breathtaking natural views as well as access to several rooms in the historic estate.
